Existential angst, social commentary, random philosophizing, angry political statement, slightly sarcastic. It may seem to be about Trump, but Trump is just in it for the money, keeping his brand alive. A pursuit like that is not significant enough for a song. The question is, why is someone so insignificant the president of the United States? A lot of people voted for an insignificant person to represent them. That's why I wrote the song.

This cut-and-paste communication is so frustrating, the
king of doublespeak is laughing in his White counting House.

ignoring all the kick-me signs on his seat.

the king himself is the fool

All these keyboards that we use, the miles of pages scrolled
If truth is only what we choose from everything we're told,
emotion wants to hold what logic should refuse

The public chooses and the truth is just for losers, as the
prince of making shit up sits up in his White counting House

Those jobs he promised is just something that he said
And all the money-making is for him instead
